I've been in a minor funk lately. To be perfectly honest, I have had no motivation or desire to open my Bible or my devotional or anything. I've missed church the past few weeks due to different circumstances that have come up, so have not heard a sermon in what feels like forever. Naturally for me, it's easy to kind of just shut 'that part' of my life down. I've even turned the "Christian" music playlist off.

I have no shame to claim that my "go to music", the music that somehow comforts me and makes me feel warm inside, is 90's R & B music. So 90's R & B Pandora has been on heavy rotation for me all day.

I was thinking today, how I feel like I haven't heard from Him in a while. Well, duh. I have already admitted to shutting 'that part' of my life down. Why would I hear from Him? I turned Him off.

Or so I thought.

Until 2 songs off Brandy Pandora brought me to tears because I felt like He had something to say to me, and was going to use whatever means it took.

The second song is a fan favorite by Monica from Space Jam :) But perspective is everything. And this song meant something different today than it has before.
